Training

The training curriculum comes in a variety of packages to fit the training needs of your school district, and provide the following training sequence:

  • Trauma-Informed Care Foundations: This two-day training helps educators understand how trauma and stress profoundly affect student behavior and learning. You'll gain trauma-informed strategies to promote safety and connection in your classroom. The session also includes practical methods to improve school climate, reduce challenging student behaviors, and support staff retention.
  • Behavioral Success: This one-day training teaches participants to view challenging behaviors (like aggression or withdrawal) through the Behavioral Success™ framework, which integrates research on trauma, neurobiology, and motivation. Using this model, you'll learn to develop action plans that equip clients with the necessary skills to achieve success.
  • Functional Approaches to Student's Mental Health: This one-day  workshop emphasizes actionable, evidence-informed functional approaches that directly influence student emotional regulation and academic readiness. You'll explore emerging science linking foundational health—including nutrition, the gut-brain axis, and sleep hygiene—to mental well-being.

Restore Space™

This specialized training provides schools and districts with the exact blueprint for setting up dedicated environments designed to support students in crisis. By ensuring these spaces meet essential basic emotional and physical needs, the classroom immediately fosters regulation and a powerful sense of safety. This stabilization is crucial, as it effectively leads to the reduction of problem behaviors and prepares the student to successfully engage with behavioral learning plans. This model allows students to "reset," practice new coping skills, and return to their regular classroom environment ready for greater academic and social success. We offer flexible models suited for all K-12 learning environments.
